On Palm Sunday of each year, parishioners of Our Lady of Pompeii present the Live Reenactment of Leonardo DaVinci’s painting of the “Last Supper,” in Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
Through readers, the twelve apostles, dressed as the apostles were in the painting, speak their minds in light of the tragic words they have just heard from the Lord. After all have spoken, the lights are dimmed, and they pose with Jesus at the table of the "Last Supper" as in the painting.
It is a truly moving spiritual experience for the Lenten Season,
and is enjoyed by people of all ages.
